ok so......
Phone = Nokia N95
Current Firmware = 10.0.018
Connection = USB
Computer = Windows 7 SP1
Its an old phone that hasn't been updated in a long time. When connected to Nokia Suite (and ovi suite) it states that there is a software update for the above phone, that of 35.0.001.
Nokia Suite asks you to click install, it then offers you the option of backing up phone data, after clicking next it reads "preparing to download" then 2 or 3 seconds later it throws up the 12017 error.
It appears it is a common error amongst nokia users trying to update their software. Some are suggesting that you have to stop ICS internet connection sharing. Yet this does nothing to resolve my issue.
Any suggestions would be welcome, thanks
