Hi Nicolas-a,
Thank you for your feedback!
What is your Bluetooth device?
You can check it in Control Panel -> Bluetooth devices OR Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager.
By the way, what is your operating system?

Hi Nicolas-a,
Thank you for your reply!
You can try out these troubleshooting methods:
1) Bluetooth is not available for you to select
The option of using a Bluetooth connection can be disabled. Should this happen, the reason might be one of the following:
* You do not have appropriate Bluetooth hardware or software installed on your computer. To check which Bluetooth stack versions are installed on your computer, click Help > About Nokia Suite > System information. For a list of the Bluetooth software versions that are supported by Nokia Suite, see System requirements.
* The Bluetooth software on your computer has been disabled.
* The Bluetooth radio on your computer has been turned off.
* Check these and make the necessary corrections before you try to connect your phone via Bluetooth again.
2) Your mobile phone is not found
* If your phone is not shown on the list of Bluetooth phones found, the reason might be one of the following:
* You have not turned Bluetooth on in the Bluetooth settings of your phone.
* You have not made your phone visible to other Bluetooth phones.
To edit the Bluetooth settings of your phone, go to Settings > Connectivity or Connection depending on the term used on your phone. Turn Bluetooth on and make your phone visible to other Bluetooth phones. Then click Search again.
If all of these methods have already been tried out by you. Please submit your error report using this error reporting form link http://tiny.cc/ja40z. And please remember to attach log files along with your error report (Instructions for collecting logs file appear in section 14)
Thanks,

But in In Device manager ==> Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth 3.0 Driver version 7.3.0.95
Bluetooth is on
My nokia is detected but can't connect to him
I have HP 635 LH426EA and Atheros AR3011 + HS bluetooth 3.0 adapter and windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, everything is installed ok, works fine with Nokia 5800 xpres music, but I have problem with my Nokia N8. Laptop (bluetooth) recognizes my Nokia N8 and installs everything properly, but when I try to send picture or anything else from Nokia N8 to laptop and vice versa, I get a message ''unable to connect'' on Nokia N8. Why that happens? And of course if you have a solution for this, please tell me.
Thanks,
Danijel
Hi djuresic,
Thank you for your feedback!

I have this problem too since Anna update.
Bluetooth on both comuter (Win 7 x64, Atheros bluetooth adapter on Asus motherboard with latest drivers) and phone (Nokia E7 with latest FW - symbian anna) is turned on
When I try to add the phone using nokia suite (3.3.86)
It says checking phone functions for a while, whereafter it says there was a problem while pairing the device. (Nothing appeared on my device)
When I try to pair using windows, i get a message telling me that there is a hardware problem.
This need to be fixed fast...
Edit:
These things are working:
Connection between E7 and older nokia 2710
Connection between E7 and computer, ONLY IF E7 STARTS pairing. Note: After pairing the connection still doesn't work.
I have a problem to connect with any Bluetooth Nokia lumia 710
Update:
I managed to fix the problem (sort of)
1) Remove all items from a previous connection like drivers,settings,...
2) Reinstall Symbian Anna
3) Pairing from PC->Phone still doesn't work, but I can pair from phone to Computer now.
4) DO NOT ALLOW automatic connections. I'll try if htese are working later, but it seems to work half with automatic connections disabled. I can now play music over bluetooth, though some things are still unstable
I'll post my further expieriences here too
Edit:
Automatic connections now work too.
Seems like reinstalling anna did the job.
I'll try connecting from Nokia suite to my phone later, but it seems like that isn't working.
Edit:
Nokia Suite still can't connect.
It seems like a bug in the Firmware causing the phone to reject all new connections...
Can i ask you where do you find Atheros Driver BT (You maybe have one better than me :)
Thank you
I got my driver from the site of asus, as asus manufactured my motherboard.
You shoul dgo to the product page of your bluetooth adapter (or motherboard if it is on your motherboard)
there you'll find drivers.
Example (I got my drivers for p8p67 mobo here) http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_EVO/#download

Hello Friends!
I have a problems with N8-00 & C7-00 with bluetooth contact: notebook Asus G74SX. Bluetooth in notebook is OK, in telephones is OK.
What,s a problems?
Drivers & softwares is actually.
I can't save pictures, music to phones & from phones to notebook.
Is there any ETA for a fix, or will belle fix this?
And now in Anna it's a fix for this problem?
With belle it is same.
Hello All,
I have exactly same problem with Nokia C6-01. Today I updated to Belle, but it's the same.
I have ASUS P8Z68-V board with on board atheros bluetooth chipset.(driver->7.2.0.65)
I'am able to get first bluetooth connection(with the key). But pairing will lost after some time. None of the bluetooth feature is usable.
I updated to belle yesterday.
Now the problem has changed:
If I try to pair from pc to E7, the computer says verification failed. However, no code shows up on my E7 or computer...
hello,
i also tried with my samsung n150 netbook. It has the same problem, too.
chipset is Broadcom bcm2070 bluetooth 3.0
Looks like it's something in the Firmware that causes this problem. Since it's just Computer-->Phone actions that aren't working...
I can play music to my computer speakers, but I can't browse my phone using bluetooth, I can open the dialog to send files, but they can't be sent, and nokia suite gives an error on connecting
Same here: Updated my N8 to Belle and installed latest 3.3.86 Suite, and it won't connect via Bluetooth anymore using Nokia Suite. It did work before but I do not remember whether it was Belle or the latest Nokia Suite which broke it.
I'm running Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth device with Windows 7 x64 PRO.
Doesn't Nokia / Accenture check anymore whether it's new software still works? So many people complainig here...
Hi all,

Hi all,
It is important to know if the Bluetooth connection is not working anymore after Belle update? So did that work before Belle/Nokia Suite update?
It is also important to know which bluetooth stack you Nokia Suite is using to communicate with your phone? (This information is available in Nokia Suite -> Help -> System information)
Please also include that information in your error reports.
Thanks,

OK, I finally managed to let Nokia Suite connect to my N8 via Bluetooth. I uninstalled the latest wifi as well as Bluetooth software and reinstalled older versions from both. This seemed to fix the problem. Although this is good for me it still seems to be some kind of compatibility problem between certain Broadcom wifi + Bluetooth drivers and Nokia phones.
I reinstalled all my bluetooth drivers + removed drivers for my E7 bluetooth functions.
But when I tried to reconnect, I can pair (Phone-->PC), but I can't do anything.
So I can't use my computers speakers, or use my computer as headset.
I am using the windows built-in funtions. I get a notification that the phone connected, but after a few seconds it says "disconnected", and it fails.
When i try to connect to my phone using nokia suite, I can find it, nokia suite says it's determining supported functions, but then I hear more then 10 times the sound of a disconnected device (and the bluetooth indicator on my phone shows no active connection)
Then I get a popup about a security code (both computer and phone). I accept. There are sounds of a connected device.
Then I get a popup on my phone, to allow the connection. I mark the connection as trusted and continue
Now the device page from windows pops up. The bleutooth indicator on both my phone and computer are showing that there is an active device.
Nokia suite is still saying the same, about checking the bluetooth possibilities
I hear 2 disconnect sounds, 1 connect sounds, and again lots of disconnect sounds. Nokia suite now reports that the connection failed.
I get again a security question on my phone and computer (with a code). I accept on both sides, the computer shows up again in the "paired devices" list on my phone
I hear sounds of connected devices, and the windows page for the device pops up again.
That's it. Now they are paired, but nokia suite still can't connect.
The connect sounds are probably from driver installations that are finished successfully
I still can't use my computers speakers now, retrying with nokia suite just gives me that error again.
Note:
When i tried it previous times, i noticed that the phone disconnected suddenly, and all drivers that weren't installed at that time failed...
This is the list of drivers that gets installed when i connect it:
Bluetooth AV remote control target
Bluetooth handsfree audio gateway
Bluetooth A2DP source
Bluetooth advanced remote control service
Not supported bluetooth function
Bluetooth OPP
Bluetooth Imaging responder
Bluetooth SyncML client
Bluetooth FTP
Not supported bluetooth function
Not supported bluetooth function
Bluetooth MTP-device enumerator
Bluetooth device (doesn't finish installation, remains at "installing...")
Not supported bluetooth function.
Note: I translated some things, so the names might not match 100% with hte real English names.

Is there any progress on this?
Hi bertware,
We are still investigating the issue.
We will let you when the solution will be available!
Thank you for your patience!

note:
3.3.90 didn't fix it, gonna try 3.3.92.
So at a given moment, the computer gets that disconnect sound, and some drivers aren't installed.
When I connect to play my phone's music to my computer, it connects, and immediatly disconnects.
I don't know if this is a firmware or software bug, but i Guess something with the drivers or similar.
Saturday i was in a shop, and I tried some bose speakers over bluetooth. That worked flawless. So it must be something on the computer, or something in the firmware related to the computer connection...
expieriences with v3.3.92
So the same story, I accept the pairing with the code provided in nokia suite.
It installs 6 drivers, then it starts to install another driver. This driver is just called "Bluetooth device", and at this point I get a second request on my phone.
the 8th driver installs succesfully, while the 7th is still busy.
When the 8th driver is installed, a window pops up about the bluetooth device (file sharing, audio,..., the default window from windows.)
this is the second (third is same style) authentification window on my computer.
http://www.uploadup.com/di-WKMT.png
The second is about at the same moment as on my phone, the third is a lot later on my computer.
the window from windows:
http://www.uploadup.com/di-H5IG.png
It is same with me
Hi bertware and Nicolas-a,
This issue is still ongoing. It is not fixed yet in 3.3.92 beta release.
We will let you know when it is fixed.
Thank you for your patience!

I had exactly the same problem. It all worked like a magic when i installed Bluetooth_Atheros_7.4.0000.0096_Win7x86x64. No problems connecting now using the bluetooth.
Yeaaaaaaaah!
I want to say really: Thank you so much!
do this to fix your porblem, and if you have atheros bluetooth:
-Remove the phone from computer (--> devices, remove you phone)
-Remove the computer from you bluetooth devices in your phone
-Instal Bluetooth_Atheros_7.4.0000.0096_Win7x86x64 ( http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Bluetooth/Bluetooth_Ather...)
-Restart your computer
Now you should be able to connect. I started the connection from my computer.
@Taza99:
if this fix works for many people, it should be clearly mentioned somewhere.
Note: I still can't send files using bluetooth, or open the device over bluetooth(FTP).
Nokia suite also doesn't work...
I can play music to my computer, and all drivers are instaleld correctly now, but still nokia suite gives some errors.
Note: when I try to add it in nokia suite, I hear disconnect sounds, and at the end the device is removed from my computer?
When i try again, so i connect from nokia suite while bluetooth devices are not linked, it says failed, and thereafter it starts to install the drivers.
When i try again, it removes the device again as described above. when i try again, it links again,...
But nokia suite won't work...
Edit: handsfree doesn't work either, so it's only audio that works (A2DP)
Hi bertware,
It is still the bluetooth device driver problem, which we investigating for your phone and other phones who have this problem.
Thank you for your patience!

After using BlueFTP, and using this application to connect to my computer using bluetooth, I'm now able to browse my phone using bluetooth. Also advanced options are working (contacts and that kinda stuff)
BlueFTP connected to my computer, so the computer showed a message similar to "do you want to allow nokia E7 to acces FTP", I answered it with "allow always"
Edit: Nokia suite works now! :D
@Taza99:
This might point that is rather the security that causes problems...
Hi all,
Now our developer team has concluded:
The problem is in Bluetooth hardware OEM driver software (as by installing correct driver set everything works).
I guess you as an end user of this Bluetooth hardware should Contact his hardware OEM (hardware manufacturer or the company who has provided the built-in bluetooth device for your PC ) for getting correct and latest driver for his bluetooth hardware.
Thanks,
Best regards,

What is your BT stack?
With this version : Bluetooth_Atheros_7.4.0000.0096_Win7x86x64 All is OK
