Thanks for the feedback. We have had some sync issues time to time and normally these go by in 30 minutes or so. We're close to solving this and should be fixed before launch.

I got the same problem synchronizing my Outlook 2007 contacts, calender and tasks with my brand new N97 bought yesterday. It says "error code 80043bf5".
The Ovi Suite and the phone software are already updated. And the computer and N97 both being restarted. So what's the solution to this problem???
This phone is much more expensive than my previous N73. It would be a joke for me to spend so much if it couldn't even sync with Outlook. By the way, my operating system is Windows Vista x86 Home Basic with all the latest Windows Update installed. Anyone, please advice.
Have you tried to repair installation of Nokia Ovi Suite via control panel or by running the installer again?
Did the problem occur right after installing Nokia Ovi Suite the first time or only after upgrading to a newer version?
I did the download, instaled and received this error message.
My cell it is new and the Ovi too.
I have the same problem, new ovi, 5800 after hard reset. Also I have a temporary workaround: in the ovi suite, go inside the contacts list and select all (ctrl-a) (or just you want to sync), and drag&drop the contacts to the phone (bottom left corner). Good luck ;)
I can not get inside the contacts because there is no data in my pc.
In your cause you had done the sync before, right?
In my case I want to do for the first time, but I got an error message.
