Contacts on Ovi: Crashes and is then unresponsive to commands

This has happened to me several times while using it with my N85-3 as of late.

I do NOT have conversations installed so I doubt it has anything to do with that.

What happens is I'll try to login in the Contacts on Ovi application and during the login cycle, I will be ejected from the application and the app closes.

When I try to access Contacts on Ovi again, there's nothing in the tab. (ie. I open contacts, I can see my address book and if I press right (>), I still see my address book. If I press right again, I get into my group list. If I press left (<) from here, I am in the contact's tab but still see my group list. If I press left yet again, I will get back into my address book.

To mitigate this, I have JbakTaskman running so I open it and shut down the contacts application. Then, when I reopen contacts, it lets me get back into the Contacts on Ovi tab.

However, in this screen, the application does not respond to any keystrokes. Even when I open the options menu and select 'SELECT' from there to try to 'Go Online', nothing happens.

I noticed it once. It happened after i had signed out of and exited CoO once. The next time i tried to loging or start, it was not opening. I simply restarted the phone to resolve the issue. On a holiday for a week so could not file the report.

I have the same problem. It starst with the 29 jan update. I have a N81 8gb

I am not certain if this is the same problem or not, but symptoms are similar. When I tried to get online while on GPRS, and from "unusual" WLAN (which did work for other applications), and hit "Go online", the app opened the GPRS for a few seconds, and then the "ovi" tab became unresponsive, and there was no further progress. Tried to restart the phone a few times, did not change anything. (yes, the "unusual" WLAN was included in the right "Desitnation".)

I also got into a situation a couple times when the app was offline, and hitting "Go Online" did not have any effect. The list of contacts still visible and scrollable, just would not try to connect (no rotating dots, no nothing). Rebooting the handset fixed it though.

This is version 1.0.7 on N85 running 11.047.53.1
