No GPS fix in N95 8GB and E71x after installing Ovi Contacts

I've used Nokia Maps 2.0 and Google Maps in N95 8GB and in E71x without any issues until I I installed Ovi Contacts: The Nokia Maps and Google Maps cannot get anymore GPS fix after Ovi Contacts was installed. Same issue in both phones. I removed everyting using application manager that came with Ovi Contacts and even re-installed Nokia Maps and Google Maps but it seems that Ovi Contacts broke GPS functionality completely in both phones.

I'm sorry hear something like that. I still would doubt that Ovi Contacts broke your GPS.

It's known to happen, that the location FW may crash in heavy use and this might be the case in your problem. Have you tried booting your phone and trying the GPS after that?

We're using only the standard device APIs available in Forum Nokia, so I doubt we broke it.
