Nokia recently released and added the Windows Live for Nokia app to the Downloads!. Its version no. is 1.05.
After installing it, Contacts on Ovi no longer works. As soon as you click on Chat on OVI, contacts crashes and reverts back to the last screen.
Any updates guys? Please do release an update for this soon.
I noticed that Windows Live is using an older version of the support package. It might be overwriting it. Did you try installing windows live first, then CoO?
I had this problem also - I saw it coming when I went to install Windows Live! and it asked to overwrite the support package with an older version.
I fixed it by uninstalling Windows Live AND CoO, then reinstalling the newer Web Support Package packaged with CoO, and then reinstalling CoO. As abranson said, you "may" also be able to just reinstall the newer Web Support Package - would be interested to know if both CoO and Windows Live! can co-exist under this scenario.

Yes, indeed, it must be related to the support package.

Sure enough, they should be able to co-exist. It just appears that some older versions of the support package has had some interface modifications since, causing the newer apps to be incompatible with it.

Got both of them working.
I installed Windows Live first.
Followed it with the new support package of CoO.
And finally installed CoO.
Both the apps working fine now :)
