This probably doesn't qualify a bug per se but when selecting Ovi Contacts as one of my "Active standby apps." the option is exactly the same as the native Contacts selection.
I realize that regardless of which "Contacts" I choose I could simply switch tabs to use either feature, but it still would be nice to better distinguish between the two when assigning an active standby app.
On my E90 the way it works is that if I have the standard contacts icon as a short-cut selecting it takes me to the normal contacts tab / list. I can then switch tabs. If in Ovi Contacts view I go Settings, Personalistion, and set the 'Icon on Home Screen' to replace the standard contacts standby app, selecting that icon takes me directly to Ovi contacs. Is that what you are after?
I realized I should have been more specific about what I was doing when I encountered the issue I brought up.
I recently changed my left soft-key option to my native phonebook by going to Tools/Settings/Phone/Standby mode/Left selection key and selecting "Contacts" from a displayed list. When I tried it out, the key put me on the Ovi Contacts tab instead of my phonebook tab. Again, I realize I can switch tabs to the feature I want.
The issue I was trying to point out is that there are in fact two identical options named "Contacts" for the purposes of Left/Right selection keys or one of the 7 shortcuts for the home screen. Each one of those two identically named "Contacts" choices will give you a different immediate result: One taking you to your original phonebook contacts and the other to the Ovi Contacts interface.
The option named "Contacts" should be changed to "Ovi Contacts" within that list of app. selections in order to avoid confusion.

Thanks for this report. We've heard this before, and have not yet made our minds around how to fix this. Ovi Contacts would be ok name on this list, but is not probably the right term on the app grid. Basically, the settings application is using only one string (the app name) for both places. So changing it to the settings list, would have an impact to the app name too.
Now, there's nothing wrong in saying "Ovi Contacts" on the grid ... but it might be too long, and at least after localization, wouldn't fit anymore nicely in to the space reserved for it.
Knowing this puzzle: What should we do?
