Ovi sync contract problem when Ovi contacts is installed - N97

I have been having problems these past few days restoring my contacts from ovi.com using the sync function on my N97.
I was sure i was doing something wrong but after double and triple checking everything i ruled this possibility out.

I decided to start uninstalling applications to see if any recently installed apps were causing the problem. The most recent was OVI contacts.

No sooner had i removed it, i was able to successfully Restore my contacts.

For fun i reinstalled Ovi contacts and deleted my contacts again - and again i was unable to restore and again after removing all is well.

Not too sure if it is the beta version, but the versio non Ovi Contacts I downloaded from SW Updater killed PC Suite contacts sync to my N97 (12.0.26) PC suite 7.1.30.9. i had not created any contacts on the device previously - contacts was empty.

Once I uninstalled Ovi Contacts, PC Suite cotnacts sync worked.

Seems to be a major problem!!!
