I have just removed Nokia Chat and installed Contacts on Ovi.
But I can´t login. I use the same user and password as on http://ovi.com.
What can be wrong?

Strange. Your Nokia Account (= same you use for ovi.com) should work. I wonder how we could troubleshoot this...
I have the same problems, can´t sync on Ovi from my E71.
This first after the Firmware Update yesterday.
Can´t get it to work anymore. After push to Sync, it shows "system error"
Well, I can sync with Ovi. Calender, Phonenumbers is fine. But the application CoO won´t login.
All i get is "Network Error"
It´s not a such simple thing as when I enter my username Wicke and my password and I go to settings and my username then changed to wicke@ovi.com?
My username when I sync contacts, calender, etc is just wicke not wicke@ovi.com
Wicke,
In what network are you running the app on? What is the your access point? Have you tried it over WLAN, does it still fail?
Is your time/date settings accurate?
Thanks for your answers..
Some pointers:
- in some networks, it's known *not to* work in WAP access points
- in some WLANs, the network might block the port we're using (range of 5222-5225)

see my comment in the other posts on this, but I think that with Chat uninstall or support package uninstall is not removing all the files and leaving enough behind to break Contacts on Ovi. So the comment on the Blog about "removing all Chat files" is valid, just a shame they don't provide a method to do it other than spending 2.5 hours rebuilding your phone from scratch!!!
I´m using 3 as operator, not a WLAN.
My phone has software 30.0.015
It seems the connection problem is specific to Contacts on Ovi because I have other Nokia applications that work, like Sports tracker, Internet radio and Nokia maps
I have seen your post Howard, I belive it must be easier than make a complete reset on the phone, hope Nokia will get a fix soon.
