Just downloaded this by pointing my mobile to the mobile download site, but it doesn't look too different from the previous version. At least it doesn't seem to have more features but instead less ones (like advanced search was completely removed)

well i hope this isn't the big update we've all been waiting for?
N95-1 V31.0.017
UK O2
it looks like this one is the "official version" now, as it appeared in the download! application.
- NISP 1.10(22)
- Ovi Contacts 1.0.6
what's really bad about this?
- advanced search dissapeared
- can't send my location or voice messages to my old contacts (do they have to upgrade?)
what's good?
- it seems it no longer crashes randomly when starting
overall
- too many features are missing as it looks
question:
does NISP installer 1.10 replace Nokia Internet Services Package 1.0.7(5)? it looks like if i reinstall 1.0 from Gizmo or 1.0.7(5) from the beta ovi contacts 1.0 ovi contacts stops working, and it only works again if I reinstall NISP 1.10(22)
Hey,
Advanced search was removed due the fact that not most people were using it. We tried to simplify by removing the support. At the same time, we tried to improve the one box search in ways that would make people not miss the advanced search.
Inability to send location/voice is a glitch, that has not been intentionally removed. The app will hide the features, if you're trying to send them to a person that can't receive them.
Thanks for highlighting the reason for the release: it's more stable.
