N79 can't startup the Ovi Contacts

After I download the fp2 version and install it inside my N79, and then I reboot my mobile.

I can find the Ovi Contacts icon in My application, but when I click it, it was done nothing, and the Ovi tab in Contacts not appear.

What should I do now?

Did you install the support package? You need to install the support file first vefore you can use Ovi Contacts.

N79 is fp2, the support file should be already embed.

Mmm.. yes, the support package is pre-installed to a number of Fp2 devices, but N79 still needs a little something to work. please install the support package and see what happens.

Would this also be true for the E71? I have a newly-purchased E71 with the latest firmware installed and am experiencing the same behavior that xkiller described. However, I did not download the Ovi Contacts application: It was automatically installed on my mobile when I updated the firmware last week.

Download version 1.2 via mobile
Download and install Ovi Contacts directly to your mobile by going to http://contacts.ovi.com/dist/app in your mobile browser.
