N86 - Ovi contacts unmentioned but installed through sw update

I ran SW update yesterday 05 Oct 09 showed an update to be downloaded, and after that there was without prior notice or selectable Ovi in my phonebook tabs and a big line saying Chat in the standby screen (cant be toggled).
Since then i have tried to uninstall it through application manager, but in vain, since it is not shown.
Is it not supported by N86 yet?
how can i remove it?
Why was it installed without mention?
Is it SW update's bug or is it a promotion stand by Ovi?
also it is not shown in the update log! ! ! ! ! ! !
Please inform me of the correct procedure to remove or disable it.

I also wonder how I can remove this app on my N86..!
When this is installed it seems that I can't get Nokia Conversations to work anymore :(

Ovi Contacts is included in the Firmware, that is why it wasn't mentioned in the SW update. It is a part of the firmware on all the new phones now.

You can disable it showing up on the Active Standby by changing the Standby Theme. From Theme > Standby, change from Ovi to Horizontal Icons. That way, the Ovi Contacts tab will not show up on the standby.

You cannot remove it from the firmware though.

As according to this post, http://betalabs.nokia.com/forum/topic/3216, we need to remove Ovi contacts in order for for the contact sync to work. Does this mean that it is now impossible to sync contacts in Ovi Suite?

Nope, it does not mean that. There was just a bug that prevented syncing. But that should be history now with the updated clients. They should work just fine.
