I there any way that I can use my @ovi.com chat ID in an alternative chat client whilst awaiting an S60 5th Ed version of OVI Contacts?
I am majorly missing my favourite chat app at the moment.

We're a standard XMPP service, so if there are any multi-headed "define your account" clients that support services like Gtalk, then yes, that should work.
If you come across any, please let me know :-)

Found one in Nimbuzz, but installed OVI Contacts now anyway and installed that on my N97 now.
