I just installed version 1.0.6 on my E71, and it seems very little have changed. The application looks to run more smoothly but no new features or anything.

Also, my Google contacts' names appear to have changed. Before the update, their actual names would show up, but now it's just their user name on Gmail. i.e. If I have a friend whose name is John Doe and whose email address is whatever123456@gmail.com, Now it would show up in Contacts as whatever123456, as supposed to John Doe like before. Is this some kind of glitch?

Hmm. Release does feature a lot of bug fixes, but the intention was not to introduce new bugs. In an earlier, but related forum post, I replied that we have a certain order of using these name-related fields from the roster and vcard, but forgot to say that the fallback is the username. That's likely what you see here.

I'll try to however find out what is missing if it was previously showing the name as well.
