What is the point of Groups in Ovi Contacts

You can add a new Group in Contacts (such as Family), you can then add Contacts to the Group. But then what?

You can't do anything with the Group, not even view it.

Am I missing something here?

The groups is another tab of the phonebook -- not a feature of the Ovi Contacts.

Ok, I have posted to the wrong forum.

My question relates to Contacts on Ovi.com

It's kind of confusing that the app name is so similar.

You can sync contacts on OVI with contacts on your phone and sync the groups tab too. The groups on your phone can have a different ring tone to identify before looking at your phone who is phoning you, o what group they are in.

Thanks mbrett, I understand what you are saying and this would be great if I could find out how to sync the Groups tab.

I can successfully sync Contacts, Calender & Notes but Groups doesn't do anything. I am using an N95 8gb. does it sync for you.
