whats next for Ovi Contacts?

the members of this forum have been giving some great feedback and ideas for OC and now we have the fp1 - 1.0.6 update, i think i'm not the only one who's feeling a little disappointed?
So, whats at the top of the drawing board for the next update? can we see any of the suggested ideas as put forward by the beta testers? i was at least expecting support for at least one more Im protocol? just imagine how useless nokia messaging would be is it could only check ovi mail and it didn't support any other protocol? i mean, a instant messenger application that cannot talk to any of my existing IM contacts (apart from one), is a bit pointless?
any why don't we see a member of nokia staff posting in here at least once in a while? an running update of how things are progressing would be much appreciated?

you know..nokia does not care..they use this as a free idea pool, but afterall userf riendlyness is not in there scedule...i got an 5800, and i i can do is wait for software, proably until the n97 hits the streets..no support, sloppy FW..

@Rich_Enduro: Thanks for posting IM's to wake me up from the office. Unfortunately there's quite a lot of work that our small team does in effort to take your suggestions and make them happen. Again, I'm sorry that you feel disappointed - the thing is that we've received so much priority one feature suggestions that doing all of them at once is not feasible. At the top of the list for most has been "support other IM protocols". While I find that very, very important feature for users - it is at the same time very, very complicated. Not from the technology stand-point, but from all other aspects.

And sorry Rich for staying far too long out from the forum. I'll try to take the time more often.

@manic85: We do care. Beta Labs has been the best source of information, suggestions and error reports that we've had. We owe a lot to you guys. We do our best to make every effort benefit the end user.

well thats fantastic news, i think i'm right in saying the one feature everyone wants is support for other IM protocols. i cannot wait!!!!

Rich: I want to stress, that while I'll take it as a top priority - I can't guarantee that to be the first new feature out. It's complicated.

is a top 3 list of priorities too much to ask for at this stage? just knowing other protocols are in the pipeline is great but what else is going to happen in the not too distant future? will an option of a pop up alert as iv'e mentioned in another thread be in the pipeline?
it's not just me being inpatient is it?? :)
