another top internet name joining the XMPP standard is great news. but nokia need to give us the option to log in using other XMPP user names. i stil only have one friend who has an ovi account, yet all my other friends are on facebook chat. i cannot wait to see how the facebook chat works.

@Rich_Enduro: Thanks for noticing this. Unfortunately the way the company you're referring to has not opened their solution for federation (which is a standard feature for XMPP, by definition). This means that you are not able to add friends from Facebook to your Ovi contacts friendlist.

we can now log into facebook via xmpp but facebook have limited the service just like nokia so we still cannot talk to other xmpp users. very poor practice. i hope transports is introduced soon.
