Having a well integrated IM that works with the Contacts on the phone sounds great. But the IM support need to expand significantly (Yahoo!, Facebook - chat, AIM, etc.) to make it competitive. There are a number other options out there (e.g. Nimbuzz, eBuddy, Fring, Slick, etc.) that has wider support, though not as seamless.
