Using a contact on a homescreen carousel it would be helpful when I select create a message the option for sending a chat message comes up next to the options for sending an SMS and email. The nokia messaging email team have incorporated this into the messaging option and it saves having to open up the application separately.

Yes thats exactly what I meant, so for example on my 5800xm when I select a favourite contact and chose to send a message I am given options to send an SMS, an audio message or a nokia messaging email. It would be great if the option to send an ovi chat to those contacts that are also in my ovi contacts chat list, and for those that are not I could send an invite to join ovi contacts.
