Hi all,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. As stated in the known issues: please ensure you select "automatically log in" when asked for your Nokia Account information.
I guess some of you did not get this step as your Nokia account credentials are already on your phone (Probably via Ovi Contacts).
Please could you therefore try the following:
Go to your Ovi Contact > Settings > Account > Remove Account.
Once you have done this, run Ovi lifecasting and you should be able to enter your Nokia account details (and select automatic sign in).
Please let me know if this works.

I don't have Ovi Contacts installed, but to have my Nokia accout in Ovi store and maybe Maps? To I have to remove it from all of these?
I had OVI Contacts, but had uninstalled it prior to installing Lifecasting.

Yep, I had ovi contacts. I removed the account and it now works!
Now it works.. Nice one :)
You should add this to the installation -page :)
I will eventually add it to the "known issues" if it works ;-)
@mbrett - you shouldn't need to uninstall ovi contacts - just removing the account should work.

OK, now it works. I reinstalled Ovi contacts, removed my account, and then it all went ok.
My problem is I had already uninstalled OVI Contacts before I installed OVI Lifecasting as I wnated to save some C: drive space before installing this. I am still getting the "You could not be connected with Facebook. Please try again." message though.
Could it be as my Nokia Account used for the following:
OVI Maps for synchronisation
Share Online for Share on OVI
Files on OVI?
[UPDATE] Re-installed OVI Contacts and removed account. Ten uninstalled again. Re-installed OVI Lifecasting and this time it worked.

It could be these too. Try removing your credentials from those too.

I tried the same and it worked. I didn't have contacts installed, but I did previously. So I installed it again, and removed the account from the phone (I also have my ovi registered on Maps etc.) but contacts seems to be the only one that stores it in a place that then lifecaster uses as well.

i had this problem too, but with removing the account on ovi contacts it now works.

My first attempt I got the "cannot connect" error but I did get the choice to automatically log in when starting up the tool (nokia password). I clicked the box. Now when I try and connect I get the "Connecting with facebook" message but it never connects.
I do not have Ovi Contacts.

I do have Ovi Store

everything logged in then i got the message "location can not be determined"
opened ovi maps got gps lock returned to livecasting app still no location....
The instruction note that when installing the widget I should select Automatic Log-In.
However, when I install the widget I am not even presented that option. And then I get stuck to "You could not be connected with Facebook"
What could be the problem?
You need to open Contacts and go to the OVI Contacts tab. The go to Options / Settings / Accounts and then remove account. Then Re-boot your phone.
You should now be able to operate OVI Lifecasting as detailed. Once setup I beleive you can re-login to you OVI Contacts.

I have deleted OVI Contacts and removed account uninstalled OVI. Rebooted phone installed the application again and it still does not work. Fails to connect with Facebook!! Help Please!!!!!!!!! I can log into Nokia account asks mt Facebook credentials whish are correct then tries to Connect and fails. Failed to connect to Facbook please try later.
Working now after reinstalling OVI contacts then deleting account. Thanks
