I've been waiting for location based Facebook apps for, god only knows how long... This is great news and even greater that it comes from Nokia. But wait, this damn widget is only available for N97, the fail whale "flagship" of Nokia?!? No 5800XM support, no E71 support? So many would eagerly wan't to try this thing out but Nokia, you are making it very difficult. And I'm sure it'll take 6 months or so before you add support for other phone models. Shame on you.
This is because it is based around the Homescreen, only available on the N97.

This could be solved with a standby plugin. I 100% sure they can do it if they want to. Would love to see this on my n82.

Att and nokia boasted the surge to be social network phone. Nothing social about it. If i had this app it would be socialable again. 6790 surge please.

Guys at dotsis.com are trying to hack the N97 and 5800 to bring homescreen support to 5800 ... google for it ;)

We developed this in a very short time and we have been able to do it only for Nokia N97 but soon you will be able to lifecast from many other devices.
