I recently purchased a Nokia e71 and frankly love it, but I have had an issue with installing themes and apps that I can not for the life of me seem to figure out even after extensive blog reading.
Just today I went to install the Ovi Maps 3.03 for my e71. I followed every step on the Nokia site, transfering it to my phone and using my file mgr. to find the .sis to install it.
Once I had installed the application there was no hint of it on my phone, not even when doing a search of the phone or memory card with the file mgr. The only thing that came up was a new thing under the search "map" and that was a file saying "mapsinstalled" with a question mark logo beside it, this file was unable to open.
If anyone knows what it is that I am doing wrong please respond to this as I would love to get some free apps and themes working on my new phone.
