It is a matter of taste, but instead of "GPS-signaali on kadotettu" ("GPS signal lost") I would prefer "GPS-signaali on kadonnut" or "GPS-signaali on poissa" or even more simply "Ei GPS-signaalia" (No GPS signal").
You get this message not only when GPS signal is lost but also when you try to start navigating and a GPS fix has not yet been acquired. In this latter case "No GPS signal" might be better than "GPS signal lost". (But don't take my word for it. My native language is Finnish.)

With Finnish voice guidance the GPS sometimes says "ota toinen oikea", which is not understandable. The corresponding English message is "take the second right" and it seems to mean that you should turn right not in the first but in the second crossing. So a Finnish translation might be "k

There is a subtle difference. If you say 'GPS signaali on kadonnut', you mean the signal has disappeared (ie there is no signal to receive). 'GPS signaali on kadotettu' means there may well be a signal but the receiver has lost or cannot detect it. I believe 'Kadotettu' is the more correct one.

You are right that there is a difference. However, the signal is normally lost not because of a faulty gps or an error in NM3 programme. If signal is lost because you drive into a tunnell or between high houses then both wordings are correct. I still prefer 'GPS signaali on kadonnut' but I admit that it is a matter of taste.

I was walking to an unfamiliar place the other day and tried out Walk navigation mode, with voice guidance in Swedish. The first thing my phone with built-in GPS receiver told me was that it couldn't contact its antenna ("Ingen kontakt med GPS-antennen.")! While possible with some good will to recover the meaning (no signal received), it's not a good phrasing.
The only other voice information it ever gave was that it was recalculating the route. It never mentioned heading, but did subtly vibrate and beep when reaching intersections.
"Ota toinen oikea" is really incorrect and way unintelligible!
Whereas "k
