Bugreport for Ovi Maps 3.0 Beta for mobile

When updating Maps 3.0 to my phone with Nokia Maps Updater I get error message:

Cannot update the maps application.
Installation failed (112 - 0x80600003)

I have tried updating via USB and Bluetooth.

I have also tried removing the whole Maps 2.0 application and maps and qf file. But if I do it, the Updater doesn't even start - it just keeps searching for a suitable phone.

So I re-installed Nokia Maps 2.0 and still the Updater kept searching for a suitable phone. After starting the Maps 2.0 application for a while the Updater finally tried to install Maps 3.0 - and the same error was the result.

Nokia 6220c & new Nokia PC Suite (7.1.26.0).

Same error on the new firmware V20 of the N96. Reinsntall a clean maps 2.0, retry and it is still the same !!!

I have been using Route 66 on 6110 Navigator and it worked well. Nokia Maps on 6220 is a sad joke. Is Maps 3.0 any better or is it a waste of time trying to install it?

Update error - 112 and so on...

Tried updating my E75 to Maps 3.0.

What should I do?!

I too have received this error when trying to install Ovi Maps 3 onto my Nokia N85 :(

Someone with an E71 told me that he faced similar problems but was able to install Maps 3.0 after removing *all* Maps 2.0 components.

However not sure whether it was this exact same issue.
