I cannot find a way to rotate the maps on my N97, on my e66 I can do it with 4 and 6 but it seems not work. I think is the same on the 5800XM
an idea can be add 2 buttons on the main screen similar at the buttons of zoom.

My compass only works when the N97 is slid open. This is no good for drive navigation as the mount needs the phone to be closed and in portrait. Using the Nokia windscreen muont I used with the N95 8Gb. Also don't want to have to have the phone slid open when walk navigating.

I see you've upgraded to the N97. Did it come with Maps 2.0 ? Before you upgraded to Maps 3 beta, did you happen to take notice of the colours? We are not getting a lot of feedback this time around from Kee, but I am most interested to know if the colours will be sorted out for the final release.

Yes it is sold with Maps 2.0 and I upgraded it. I cannot remember the colours if they were different.

I reached to rotate the map usign F and H on the keyboard, but it has to be something on the main as written above.

As Navio1973 advised it canme with Nokia Maps 2 installed and then had to be upgraded to OVI Maps 3.
The colours issue remains.

i dont need to have the slide to open for the compass to work, just shake the device. Also i noticed it has poor performance by the way, also for better output it should be laid on its back.
i believe the case is firmware.
When I reached to rotate the map, I forgot to write that the slide was closed

there is no way to rotate the map on the x6 which doesnt have a compass!
