When I made a route and after show route I cannot scroll the map, it is possible only to zoom in or out and when you do it, OMM can show a map without the route.
If I well remember in the previous beta it was possible scroll the map.

I have noticed this behaviour also. In the previous version I often used the possibilty to scroll the map with the route. Please don't take this feature away!

I have downloaded the latest version 2 days ago (31.07.2009). No way to scroll in "show route" mode. Any news on that topic ?

No way to scroll in Overview mode is really annoying. I'm used to review my routes manually before I start driving. Without this feature it's almost impossible. I would suggest to make it possible to scroll the map again. It makes life a lot easier.
Just to suggest the solution...
"Hints" window could be context specific. In Overview mode, "4" and "6" shortcuts could could be assigned "next" and "previous waypoint". From the users perspective it is not really needed to rotate the map. The user can just rotate the handset -- is much easier and intuitive.
Having "4" and "6" keys assigned to "next" and "previous waypoint" we could use the scroll in 4 directions again.
One more thing -- please note that "2", "3" and "8" keys do absolutely nothing in Overview mode in my version of software. And it's fine -- in my opinion, 3D view in Overview is useless. We should have this lower prioritized than useful and really user friendly interface for reviewing the calculated route.
The last thing, if scroll functionality is back. Automatic snapping to favorite points on the map shall use some sort of timer. Just an example: it should be possible to scroll over the favorite point without snapping. If the user wants to select the favorite point he should stop scrolling in the neighborhood of it, wait until the above mentioned timer expires (e.g. 1-2 sec) and than, finally snapping should occur.

I have downloaded and purchased a license for Maps 3.0 beta and I find it worse than version 2.0 The main reason is lack of scroll on route overview. I need to use my computer every time I build a route in order to check it :(

This thing has been driving me mad after upgrading from 2.0 because I thought that the feature was there and I simply couldn't find it in the menus. I've gone through every single menu option and tried every key combination possible with no luck :) Obvioulsy... :)
Is there a way to downgrade to Maps 2.0?
