I know I know.. it has already been reported.
But all the solutions there involved upgrading firnware.. formatting this, formatting that etc etc, and no recent reply there about this issue even after graduation of this software motivated me enough to bring up this old Bug in attention.

Now, what I did was to install Nokia maps 2.0 over the Maps 3.0 and then removed it from my mobile.
So here is my question:
Can't this software be modified in such a way that we can remove it without upgrading firmware/formatting/installing
