Does the new version of Nokia Maps truncate the postcode search ? for example if I search for PR3 4RF will it return the full postcode or the truncated version, now reduced to 4 characters as in PR3 4 which to be frank is useless ?
No other navigation software truncates the postcode search Nokia - please resolve this and give the drive and walk users back full postcode search.
Is this a question or a bug report? If it's a bug report, maybe you could do a bit more testnig, describe the problem more fully, and post a bug report (having first checked whether anyone has already posted a bug report about this. Did you read esisting posts yet to check this?). The purpose of this beta is to help Nokia find and resolve problems.
Please remember that this is still an early beta! See the About Tab of this site. Maps 2 works perfectly well with full 7 character postcode search - there were issues too for full postcode searches during its beta, and these were resolved when the full non-beta release came out.
