Hi,
I wonder that you nokia-developers think about betas. The sense of betas is to test the CURRENT deveopment-state of software, not the state of 2 months ago. That sense makes it to report bugs if they perhaps are fixed already?
Also if you report something you get no answer... Not even a simple "We will look at it"
You should take an example by the open source-projects. Mostly there you can directly access the subversion-repositories or something. So you could find most bugs quite early, and you can early test the bugfixes. I can understand that you don't want to do so because you can't open your code, but one or two releases should be possible per month. Also some people (as me) are really waiting for a new version because of bugs in the current version.
So I hope we can see a new release next days... would be nice to see one before eastern ;)
