I thought that there should be a function like this.
like finding your spot from gps antennas or something.
But there is not in the newest maps.
Nokia N78.
Great work by the way!!!

It s called network based. It does have to be selected as a positioning method in the phones GPS Data application. This uses the celular nework triangulation to provide a rough position which can not be used for navigation, but can provide a rough locational fix.

Hi,
Just a quick question even though this is for maps.
I have just debranded and the latest update for the euro1 code was 31.0.015. Could I just use the code you have above and re-update the phone, as I guess there was issues with the version I'm using.
I Have used network positioning not so long ago, as my phone would not use the GPS for some reason.
I am also not sure if this might help with not receiving and voice warnings for speed or camera's and only a visual indication if over the limit.
Thanks,

My product code is the UK sim free code. You did note a mistake in my signature though the FW version I mention was wrong and it should be 31.0.015.
I have had no GPS issues that I had not seen previously with this version of the firmware. I do have a different product code, but I would bot have expected that to make a difference.
Do you see GPS in GPS data?

I thought the lightly filled red circle around the red dot that indicates your location was supposed to indicate the margin of error in the estimation of your location (a la Google Maps)?
When I zoom in and out of the map with only an A-GPS fix, the circle stays the same size, but should get bigger as you zoom in.
