I agree with kegan, this option is in Garmin mobile and sygic mcguide too.
when you use NM to go somewhere, usually you use it also to back home

Some people may class this as a security issue.
It always used to be said that you should never have your home set on your phone as if it is stolen the theif could find your house, or something like that. Some people may dislike this feature for this reason. I suppose it's usage would be purely optional and as such they wuold have the option to not use it.
I myself think this could be useful. Just thought I would mention the security issue.

if you think that it is security issue, the post of "deleting the history" has to be too because there is all your destinations and one of the last ones probably is your home.

Maybe for this you could have a form of favourites prioritation and have a short key fo number 1 or something. No mention of home.
