He is correct one is unable to if it is locked on route view path, because it is stuck on auto zoom, so would use zoom, but it reverts in seconds
U would have move of the path till u can move around the map freely to use the zoom feature

I tryed without the autozoom, but it is not possible to zoom in. In the 2D/3D view it is possible to zoom in or zoom out evenif the autozoom is setted on.

I saw that now it is possible to zoom in on the route view mode, but how it is done is terrific because it zooms in on the centre of the map not on the change of direction. As wrote in http://betalabs.nokia.com/forum/topic/2654 this view is useless.

Nokia, please allow key '0' on overview and safe zoom level for the current navigation session. If you add a pan function, then the Job is done 130%.
With the key '0' and stored zoom level, its easily to jump between the 3D view and the overview zoomed to a level with best resolution to see upcomming traffic events.
Today it's hard (near to impossible) to see whats coming up in the next 50km, when you are on a long drive.
