Have installed on N97 RN-505, with firmware 11.0.021, custom 11.0.021.213.02. Previous version was the latest 3.x maps (installed yesterday).
When click on settings and then Internet, then the Maps application closes without warning. All the other settings options work correctly. If in the Navigation settings and press the left arrow, then the effect is the same ... Maps closes without warning.
Speaking of internet settings - The program won't let you to select internet access point like S60 Browser or Yandex Maps. Maps is a quite bandwidth handy, so would be good to let people optionally select an access point when selection is turned off in system.
I did some more tests and found that this is caused by the fact that I have the phone in the offline profile. Since I am roaming, I don't want it to make unexpected data connectings. I am using the phone with the Wifi connection.
With the phone in the offline profile Lonely Planet does not start. Strange as it's first question is to use online / offline. I found that after switching the phone to online, Lonely Planet still did not load. I had to switch the maps internet setting to offline, then launch Lonely Planet again, before it will go online using the WiFi connection.
