Route recalculation voice

When my N97 is recalculating a route it slows right down and the voice really seems to struggle to play. I know that it will be using extra processing power the the recalculation, but it sounds like its really struggling.

Try closing all other apps and see if it still does this? Just out of interest. Maybe it's a little RAM hungry.

Also is this using the new version released 07-SEPT-2009.

Just installed the new version, but not had chance to test it.
I had no other applications running at all, other than 2 RSS feeds on the home screen, which only update once a hour. I think maybe its becasue this current version installs on C, and takes up lots of free space on there.
Its a problem I can live with, but thought I'd make them aware ;-)

Just out of interest how much free space do you have on your C: drive? This has affected phone performance for some.

@justinbrett1975: certainly not a C: drive space issue then

I assume that you have not got things like n-gage installed then. I have thought about uninstalling it as I''m sure it's taken more than 10MB of my C: drive as I have about 5 games installed (all to the E: drive but it still uses a little of the C: drive to store game related data it appears).

The next question would be what FW and product code?

I removed everything I could from the C Drive, and re-installed them to the mass memory, I have messages and everything also running from mass memory.

My Software Version is 11.0.021 with the custom version being 11.0.021.262.04. Product code is for Branded T-Mobile UK.

Surprising how quickly your space reduces when you start installing these enforced C: drive apps.
