I have Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. My current version is v30.0.011 I am unable to install ovi maps v3.03 I have seen minimum requirements as v30.0.008 but i am having a much more version than that. It says while installing "update your mobile and unable to install, no access".Please find a solution for this.

I had the same problem as you, but I managed to solve by changing the
code of the product.
This technique is called "Debrand"
But be careful, when changing the product code, you lose the warranty of the product.
It is your responsibility!!!

After that, I managed to update my phone to v40 and install the new nokia maps :)
You can always change the product code back anyway...and if you change it to a code within your region eg changing a UK code to a Europe one I've heard it doesnt void your warranty but not too sure if thats true..
I think there is a very good chance it can void your warranty if you change your product code. At the end of the day the job of many warranty departments is to work out a reason for your warranty is void. It's best not to give them an excuse. It's just good business to minimise spending.

True...how long does a warranty last for a year isn't it? so it depends how long theres left to run..I honestly don't see why nokia would care if you did change your product code and update as your not hacking the software and your putting Nokias official software on..think it affects the network operators more...but then again thats another discussion :D
@sukh88: I don't disagree with you at all. The problem is that the place of purchase in most cases is with the Operator who have Nokia contracted to provide modified FW on their "branded" phones. The may well be contractual issues with Nokia knowingly permitting users to change Product Codes.

My phone is RM-356 having software version 30.0.011and custom version 30.0.011.C01.01 dated 29-06-09, language set -19.
when i'm checking it through nokia maps, it says this version not suitable for nokia maps..
so how can get free full version nokia maps..

It could be your date and time setting is incorrect.
I was having the same issue when the date and time is not set correctly to my local time on the Nokia 5800.
