I am using V12.2.023 N97 firmware Taiwan variant
I have lifecasting or Apple daily on homescreen ( both eat up a lot of RAM and I suspect Ovilifecasting has serious memory leaks )
also I have music player on homescreen and music player is playing music.
I like playing music while playing with voice navigation....
With this setup my RAM usage is almost ful all the time and with this. Almost 80% of the time I start voice navigation the phone will not get a GPS signal at all.
I started closing music player, uninstalling Apple Daily widget ( & remove from homescreen ) and removing ovilifecasting etc to basically free up RAM
looks like I can get GPS signal again.
IMHO this is a design issue, if there is a failure of getting GPS signal or other functionalities due to the inability of allocating memory in runtime, the memory should be allocated at start up of the application and reserved permanently until the app exits.
Voice navigation is as pertinent as making emergency calls for drivers. It simply cannot fail.
