Ovi Maps for N97 will be available as of 28th January 2010...
The version for N97 is going to be available from the 28th Jan 2010 via the IAD (also known as Software Update).
Users of the N97 are advised to update their firmware after release, which will then make the new Ovi Maps available for download.

Will this be ever available for older devices like my 6220 classic? I know you will not give me a release-date, but can I wait and hope or can I forgot this idea?
Is N958Gb going to be supported (free navigation)? If yes, what is the ETA, please?
I just installed the N97 mini version on my N97 (non-mini) and it works fine!
I just uninstalled the old Ovi Maps application and some other app that were installed on C: in order to have at least 20Mb of free space.

Installed new firmware yesterday on my 5800 with Ovi Maps but it still asks for Licence!!! and when I click on OK, it ask me to choose between paying for one day 1 ... month ..etc.
Although it was mentioned it was for free.
@annemiekesalem: What version of Maps does it say you have?
Have you downloaded the app post FW update?

You know the ETA on the Iceland map? been rumours that its close for some time now ..
I just wanna say that We pakistani's Need Pakistan Map in OVI Please hurry up .. I saw A thread in which Kee answered that they would do it this year it in december of 2009 and its July of 2010 .
