Hello,
Since the past version of Nokia Maps, there's one feature missed:
In the past version, when I wanted to locate, let's say, for example, service stations, I just looked in the category of "service stations", and the software showed me all the service stations around my location.
Or for example, if I wanted to locate the nearest hospital, there was a category of "public services", and inside this category were listed: hospitals, police stations, libraries.....etc. I just needed to click on hospital to fetch a list of all hospitals around.
In this Beta version of Ovi maps, "Find places" feature does not have this capability, so, the user has to type in the search bar what is he/she looking for. There is not a categorized/classified interest points list, in a few words, a list that contains all the interest points in the map organized in categories (food & drink, station services, attractions, entrainment, banks, .....)
I've been using Ovi maps and haven't seen this feature, which as far as I can remember, was present in the maps program embedded on the phone
