Hi - I believe I am right in saying that Ovi maps beta has been replaced now by the Free Maps announced by Nokia a few weeks back. You should update your device to get the new maps build (246) for s60 V5 and get free navigation

Actually I am using the Nokia 6710 Navigator with latest ovi maps update to 3.03 10wk01 b05 with Map version 0.1.23.112.
When I try to browse from ovi maps online for adding favourite to my map in satellite mode, some of the satellite maps doesn't show up when zoom in until street view.
For an example, you can try to find a place named " papar" then try to zoom in to street mode.
Not only this happen in online ovi maps. it happens on my handphone map as well. When I asked to show on map, the map looks blank and only favourite icon on the map.

The reason for that will be that the whole world does not have satelite imagery of the same resolution. The level of imagery you get very much depends on what resolution was taken. I believe nokia are working on better imagery with the new satelite that was launched a few months back so hopefully we will all get better resolution eventually but as with all things it takes time so your best bet is be patient and we should all see the benefits soon enough
