While Maps 3.0 is really wonderful it is difficult to specify to navigate to an address of one out of my contacts.
The only way to do this I found is:
1) Specify a dummy location to navigate to;
2) Add an other point to the route;
3) Delete the dummy location.

Firstly did you not add your contact as a landmark - then you simply select the landmark from favourites.
Secondly which version of maps are you using. Ovi maps beta is now archived and is on general release in the form of Free Navigation available in Ovi store for all S60 V5 devices.

I sometimes need to use an address from my contacts. However, it is impossible to do it in Ovi Maps 3.03 although it was possible in Maps 3.0. Please restore this function that is very useful!
FREE OVI MAPS 3.0 is a downgrade! do not install!
- Now we cannot search for addresses, neither typed or the ones already saved in our contacts... I do not want free, I want good! even if I need to pay.

But I used to navigate and pay for the use of Ovi Maps 2.0 HAPPILY, and now I saw that with my E71 I was elegible for downloading ovi maps 3.0 free for life!
Well, I wouldn't bother to let all the licenses I paid go away, it is free for life time, right?
Well, the bad part just arrives! WIth ovi maps 2.0 I was able to search for adresses... yes I mean street name + street number, that easy. Now with Ovi Maps 3.0 you can only search for terms, and themes... like restaurants, movie theaters, gas stations... WHAT ABOUT my home? what about an office where I have a business meeting?
Nokia people: GIVE ME BACK MY 2.0 version, where can I find it? I do not want the new version even if it is for free, I prefer my pay version.

Sorry, I meant free version 3.03, while the well working pay version where you could look up contact addresses or type in addresses is 3.0
