At the moment it is not possible to send the acual position via simple sms to other devices. This is a very usefull feature for emergency reasons.

I myself, have had an accicent in the Pyrenaen Mountains. I called for a helicopter by typing the coordinates from my Garmin into the cellphone.... It saved my life.
I completely agree with you. There should be a function that shows the full address where I am, coordinates and eventually the closest crosses and POIs.

i agree with you too, right now it sends the location as an attachment using MMS and I dont want this, whereas garmin uses simple sms to send location messages, so simple, why it is not the option in ovi maps.
I had mentioned this suggestion too but no response from betalabs team!!!
