Hello,
i've tried to use Ovi Maps on Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP, but everytime i install the Plugin and restart the Browser the Map itself doesn't appear, Just the Frame above (including the link to ovi e.g.)
I've tried it several times, i also tried to reinstall Adobe flash, deinstalled MS Silverlight, and checked the ActiveX settings.
I can use Ovi Maps without the plugin, but i need it for routing!!

I have the same problem with Firefox 3.5
One of my customer is trying to download the map Data to her device the 6710 Navigator, previously she had on her phone but she sent it for repair, so the entire phone was reflashed so even the Map data disappeared, so she wants to redownload the Map Data for Singapore, so she used her map loader but it seems not functioning properly, so what she did is she uninstall it, but still the same, so she called us, now what we did is we deleted the QF and cities folder, then run the Nokia Maps after deleting the said folder, we tried again to download map data but still the outcome is the same it just keeps on loading and loading for a long time but it doesn't show anything we even updated her Nokia PC Suite to 7.1 and tried using the Download Maps but still it didn't worked out, so what seems to be the problem?
Same problem. Just cant view maps or navigation bar after installing plugin. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting firefox, reinstalling java virtual machine, deleting cookies and cache...
Does anybody have a fix for this problem? Im on in FF 3.6.3 on win7, everything is upto date as far as I'm aware (auto updates on Adobe and windows). It works fine without the plug installed.
I think the issue was due to Plugin cached data...
Now it should work easily, and routing does not require plugin anymore
