It is possible that we will eventually provide a Chrome plugin, but it is not in our short-term planning at this stage.

However - what we are planning to do is open up the "tile" version (the plugin-less version) of the maps to all standards compliant browsers, so users of Chrome or Opera will at least be able to access the plugin-free version of Ovi Maps. This might be available in the next months...

Chrome can access Ovi maps now and is much faster than the same product with my other browsers.

Why is a plugin necessary for routing and traffic info?
