Hi,
regarding to the licensing you can only change the sim once. On my E71 with Maps License i've lost a day changing the SIM :-(
If you often on travel you would find Nokia Maps a nice feature, but if travel worldwide and use local mobile providers you will loose your license after the first travel....
... very uncool feature.

Licenses can be transferred either from one SIM to another SIM or from one device to another device as many times as you like. The only limitation is that once you have transferred the license either from SIM to SIM or from device to device, you can only transfer the license using that rule (meaning that e.g. after changing SIM card, license can not transferred to another device anymore). If you need to change both, the SIM and the device, please contact Nokia Care. ithink that he meant something else. if he travels through 5 countries and needs to change the sim in each one, than he is stuck with no license after the second sim change. that indeed is very very unpleasant
indeed veru unpleasant, good you pointed that out, i might have to decide for a competitor then, coz im traveling as well, or nokia is gonna fix this...
