Would it be possible to include elevation summary for routes, along with distance? That would be especially valuable for Walk (and bike, if there were any such) type routes.
Alternatively, can anyone suggest a way to export OVI Maps data to gpx. files, so these could be correlated with such services as GPS Visualizer?

What you're looking for is called Nokia Sportstracker (NST). There you can record everything what you want. Initally, it was developed to record every sport activity you are doing. But it is also very useful if you're traveling f.e.
There you have the possibility to save the route as a *.KML-file which one should be integrated to the most of the programs/tools/portals. But i dont know the GPS Visualizer...if you want to test it please send me a mail to begg@freundeskreis-stgallen.ch and i'll send you a *.KML-file which you can try out!
