Every word is gold.
Most people in Israel use Nokias and it's a shame we can't use this great service.
If you are not supporting Israel in your Maps service you have to disable this service to Israel users.
its a basic usability issue. Nokia needs to learn usability.
That's the kind of things distinguish Apple from Nokia.

I would be also very happy indeed if ovi maps would contain maps of israel
I think it is a SHAME that every country except ISRAEL is on the Nokia Map Loader !!!
We are one of the first country in the world who is using at least 2 GSM per habitant !!
You are the leader in Israel .... the question is ....... are you going to stay ... with that politic ( of forgetting us ) I do not think so ... .

hello nokia? anyone listening there? nokia is the biggest cell phone manufacturer in the world. we use your phones all over the planet including in the middle east. so why are there no maps available? at least we can expect an answer explaining what is going on or if we can expect any progress on this issue. thanks!
I sent a slightly scathing email to Nokia Israel, we'll see what kind (if any) result I get.
This is seriously retarded, is Nokia ignoring this on purpose?
It's not like there is any real issue with many GPS and even internet services offer Israel's maps it's not like there is a ban on this.
My phone was advertised as having a GPS and I cant use it since there are no maps available (hopefully the free navigation update was or is allowed to do here in Israel havent tried to update as there are no maps for Israel)
2 possibilities here:
1. Either Nokia is buying into the Arab "erase Israel from the map" philiosophy (or else they're afraid of losing Arab business if they put Israel on the map); or
2. The Israeli cellphone networks have paid off Nokia NOT to put Israel on the maps, so that they can charge for their own navigational programs.

What kind of evilness is to nag me every time I use the OVI suite to re-install, update and maintain your useless ovi maps after I uninstall it? Your service is not available in Israel - so why bug me?
I am an American who has visited Israel several times. It would be nice to have the ability to load Israel Ovi maps on my phone for my next visit. The absence of Israel on the list of nations for Ovi maps is very glaring. What is the explanation? Oh well, at least You didn't have maps of, "Palestine".
Looking at the Ovi map list must give the Iranian President a nice warm feeling. It leaves me cold!
