Time to look at other services (ie. Flickr)

I've been trying to use and support Ovi Share since it launched but this latest news definitely has me looking at alternatives:

I thought Ovi Share had something going for it....looks like I was wrong

I don't even understand why they removed the EXIF data from the pictures such as which phone took the pic...

I hope this is not going to extend to the rest of the OVI service in the end as this system of combined file sharing, calendar and contacts synchronising, Maps routing, Games download etc. seemed like such a good idea for me. They could have developed it into a central web base for Nokia mobile users.

It will be a sad day if the changes to Share on OVI spreads to the rest of OVI.
