I know that it says, it isn't supported - But I would only install it, to turn it off from the standby screen.

haven't triedinstalling 4.3 on my 6220c. But if you only want to take it off the standby screen, that should be doable in 4.0 too. Or am I completely misunderstanding you? :-)
