I would like to see an option to shoot in offline mode, which would only store the images in the handset without asking about connection. I will want to synchronize once I can connect through WLAN.

Share on Ovi is the web site, not the sharing client
Besides, the functionality is already there

What about in the older graduated FP3.1 version?
I have never been forced to upload all images taken to OVI. I just send what I want. One at a time. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the original problem.
Now Image Exchange automatically wants to upload all image, but only when it is online.

Sorry, I'm confused. Not sure what you are asking, but Image Exchange (http://imageexchange.nokia.com/) is different than share online?
In the initial post IMAGINARY.FRIEND wrote

Maybe I missed online mode. I know that in the Gallery I have the option of "post to Nokia OVI" and there is "Share Online" which can check and upload images, but I was unaware of an online mode to want to offline from.
This is why I mentioned "Image Exchange" which I ralise is different, but the application I am aware of having a online mode and handling images.
I thought Share on OVI was just the website which coul be uploaded to via "Share Online". What did I miss?
Are we talking about "Publish All Image data", which is in "Settings" in "Share Online"? This can be set on "Enabled" or "Disabled".
Appolgies for my confusion. Hope this clears it up.
