Every time I do something in Sport Tracker's web page web browser asks: "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do I want to see nonsecure items?".
That happens with every page so it ruins usability quite badly.
That happens with Internet Explorer 7 & 8 (still the world's most popular browsers).
Firefox 2 didn't care about warning.
I beleive there is a setting in IE that you can set so that it stops bothering you. I don't get that message in IE8
I couldn't find any setting and very few regular Windows user can/bother to change that even there is such thing.
There was setting like "warn if changing between non secure and secure mode" but that was disabled.
I've noticed the message with all three different computers that I've tried Sports Tracker. No other web page has such problems.
I've checked at work as well and don't receive the warning message at work either on IE7.
I don't think I have it set, but you could add " http://sportstracker.nokia.com/ " to your trusted list in Internet Explorer. Maybe that would help.
Tools / Internet Options / Security / Trusted Sites / Sites / enter http://sportstracker.nokia.com and click "Add"
Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately adding Sport Tracker to trusted list didn't help.
By the way, is https really needed? I haven't any major website using it anyway (unless not handle really private information like credit card numbers).
